Βefore you get to your destination, you’ll need to follow a few easy steps. That’s why we’ve gathered 3+1 tips to help you travel with peace of mind and safety!
Check the battery
Weather conditions—rain, wind, heat—affect your vehicle, especially when you park it outdoors. So now that it’s summer, take a moment to check if everything is working properly.
Step 1: Make sure the supports properly secure the battery (it should be locked in place).
Step 2: Visually check the outer casing of the battery. If it hasn’t swollen, cracked, or leaked any fluid, you can drive with peace of mind.
Check the tires
And once your battery is good to go, it's time to check your vehicle’s tires. Evening drives, weather conditions, and daily use wear down the tires, which is normal.
Step 1: Make sure your tires are free of cuts or holes, so they don't lose air. If there’s any damage, they’ll need to be replaced.
Step 2: Check the tire pressure. If they’re over-inflated or have lost air, adjust the pressure accordingly.
Protect the exterior and interior of your vehicle
During the summer months, the color of your vehicle is more prone to fading, and high temperatures can make it uncomfortable to sit in the seats. So, prevention is key!
Step 1: Your vehicle needs frequent washing and waxing to protect the paint and finish on the outside.
Step 2: The sun can cause cracks and fading on the interior, so to avoid this, use UV protection.
Extra tip
For added protection, use covers and sunshades.

And since you never know what you might need on the road, always have a Flex emergency kit with all the essentials.
