The Fiat 500 Cabrio 2021 is a fusion of the timeless style of the 500 with a technologically advanced and more modern take. After all, Fiat knows style and elegance better than anyone.

The new Fiat e 500 is designed to provide comfortable and silent city driving, featuring top-tier assistance systems and advanced connectivity solutions. It may very well be the most affordable electric car currently available in Greece.

Measuring 3.63 meters in length and 1.68 meters in width, it accommodates up to four adults. The split rear seat folds down, offering additional space beyond the 185 liters of trunk capacity. It might look the same, but take a closer look, and you'll see how different it is from the iconic 500!

The Fiat 500e Cabrio is powered by an electric motor producing 118 horsepower, with a 42 kWh battery providing a 320 km range. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9 seconds, with a top speed of 150 km/h.

Though the new Fiat e 500 Cabrio looks similar to the conventional 500, it is a new model featuring three different colors for the convertible roof! You can choose from classic black, grey, or blue.

Another distinctive feature is the absence of the traditional door handle. Instead, there’s an electric button that, when pressed, opens the door for easy entry!

At the rear, you’ll find the 500e badge and the Fiat logo. The LED side arrows add extra elegance, as do the 16” dark-finished aluminum wheels.

3 Driving Modes

The 500 Icon Cabrio also innovates in driving with three different modes! First, there’s the Normal mode, which allows you to drive it like any other car. The Range mode, where the vehicle is driven using only the right pedal for both acceleration and deceleration! Release the pedal, and the vehicle slows down, regenerating energy and recharging the battery. This mode is ideal for energy conservation and driving ease. Finally, there's the "Sherpa" mode, which helps save energy while driving. It’s essential when the remaining battery power is very low, advising you on the best route according to your remaining range.

Battery and Charging

The 500 Icon Cabrio is perfect for city driving, offering a range between 320 to 460 kilometers. You can charge the lithium-ion battery at home using the easyWallbox, or with the connected Wallbox, you can manage charging remotely via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 3G/4G. For quick and easy charging at public stations and parking areas, an optional Type 3 cable is available. It takes about 15 hours to fully charge via a regular outlet, but this time drops to 4 hours and 15 minutes if connected to an 11 kWh wallbox. Using a fast charger of 85 kW, the battery reaches 80% charge in about half an hour.

Technology

The 500 Icon Cabrio gives you all the right reasons to drive! Thanks to its advanced technology, you can select the speed and the distance from the vehicle ahead, with the car stopping automatically when necessary. Another groundbreaking feature is the "wake-up" system! If you're drowsy, the system detects lateral movements and alerts you with both visual and audio signals on the 7" digital display. Similar alerts are triggered when the car unintentionally drifts from its lane, warning you through various methods, including steering wheel vibrations.

In case of a serious accident (hopefully not), when the airbags deploy, an automatic call is made to the European emergency number 112. Pressing the SOS button will get you faster assistance.

Entertainment and Connectivity

Inside, a 10.25" bright screen is available for your entertainment and information, featuring navigation, 3D maps, and Bluetooth pairing in under 5 seconds once you open the door.

Fiat’s brand-new app, available for download to your phone, offers complete control over your car, even when you're far away. For example, you can lock/unlock the doors or schedule the climate control! With my Wi-Fi, you can connect up to 8 devices, making your trip more enjoyable, while with my Alert, you can track your vehicle in case of theft.
