With the S60 Recharge, the Swedes continue to pleasantly surprise us! This is Volvo's delicate premium compact sedan, featuring the unique Recharge T8 plug-in hybrid engine, offering a discreet display of power.

Its dimensions are 4.761m in length, 1.85m in width, and 1.431m in height, with a wheelbase of 2.872m, shaping its unique aerodynamics and overall exterior look. Design elements such as the front LED lights with the "Thor’s Hammer" strip, the prominent edges on the front bumper, and the geometric rear lights give the Volvo S60 its distinctive identity. It is available in nine different colors, while another striking feature is the slightly elevated trunk lid, resembling a rear spoiler.

Interior

Inside, the centerpiece of the dashboard is the 9-inch vertical touchscreen infotainment system, accompanied by a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster on the left. The driver’s controls are minimal, as most functions are operated through the user-friendly infotainment menu. The cabin exudes an eco-friendly sense of luxury, as there is no leather used anywhere.

Engine

It features a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine combined with an electric motor, delivering 303 hp and 88 hp respectively. The gasoline engine powers the front wheels, while the electric motor drives the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The total system output reaches 392 hp, with 640 Nm of torque. The electric motor enhances all-wheel drive performance in slippery conditions and improves towing capability.

Despite its two-ton weight, its performance is impressive, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 180 km/h, as with all Volvo models.

Battery

The battery has a capacity of 11.6 kWh and can be fully charged in 3-8 hours using an external charger.

If you plan a long journey, the Pure electric mode allows you to travel up to 93 km emission-free. The battery is centrally located in the chassis, contributing to optimal weight distribution and a balanced driving experience.
